My stay at this local Medora hotel was a mixed bag. While the location couldn't be better, being very close to Teddy Roosevelt National Park, the rooms became unbearably hot, and there's no elevator, only stairs to access the level above the lobby.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were extremely nice with a great bathroom, plenty of room, and a partial view of cliffs in the park. They were very clean and nicely furnished, plus, we could enjoy views of the cliffs where horses grazed at night. However, it got unbearably hot in the room, and we had to prop open both balcony doors. The service was incredibly hard-working and focused on providing the best customer experience possible. It's definitely the best place to stay if you're visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park or attending the Medora Musical. The location was perfect, right in the heart of shops, restaurants, and very close to the South Unit entrance to the park. The dining experience was a nice way to start the day, in front of the fireplace, though it was supposed to be a continental breakfast. The facilities were top-notch, and the price was worth it for the quality of the stay.
